Professional Creators Workshop 22.02.2025
Kochi, 22nd February 2025 – The Makers Connect (TMC) successfully hosted Kerala’s first full-day workshop exclusively for professional content creators at Abad Plaza, Ernakulam.
The event featured expert sessions on taxation, GST compliance, and cybersecurity, with speakers from the Income Tax Department, GST Department, and Kerala Police Cyberdome. Senior officials, including Shri. Jyothis Mohan IRS (Additional Commissioner of Income Tax), Amal Dev MV (Income Tax Inspector), Melwin Mathew (Income Tax Inspector), Shri. Anil Kumar (Deputy Commissioner, GST), Rajeev R P (Sub-Inspector, Cyberdome), and Anand Vs (Police Inspector, Cyberdome), delivered comprehensive presentations on legal and financial aspects that content creators must adhere to.Industry leaders like CA. Saji Sebastian, CA. Dibin Divyakumar, and Advocate James Jose led panel discussions and Q&A sessions.
Participants received certificates, and a lucky draw winner earned a three-day sponsored trip to Munnar.
Aibin Mathew, Founding Director of TMC, highlighted the mission to professionalize content creation and connect creators with entrepreneurs.
The event also witnessed the launch of the CSDC (Creator Skill Development Certification) logo, unveiled by YouTube expert Shijo P Abraham.
